Maddie was found abandoned near an irrigation canal, starving, and with severe mange. She was just a puppy, alone, scared and sick. Maddie had not had much luck in her young life, her luck finally turned. She was found by people that cared enough to take her in even though she looked like this:
Her new people could see that she was a beautiful, playful, exuberant, girl. After many long weeks of treatment for demodectic mange Maddie looks like this:
Even after months of treatment, Maddie still wags her tail when she comes to the clinic. Maddie and her owners deserve a big pat on the head for perseverance!
